I wanted to use a battle system similar to Mother 3 in my RPG. Essentially, the basic turn-base with the ability to manipulate the.
Oh, and I have to figure out how to actually share the game. Need to finish my 3rd mini game, make my credits, make sure everything is connected correctly, make my Full Game or Game Jam choice option, quality test/bug squash, and polish, including music and sound. There are three battle systems I want to play around with First I want to customize turn based combat with custom menu, animations and have the ability to add/remove options. Or make combat in real-time based on a speed stat rather than turn-based.
Or give enemies idle and attacking animations. I mean, sure you can put in your own sprites and make your own attacks and all, but can you actually radically revamp the base system?įor instance, say I wanted to display my party members on-screen, rather than as simple portraits as seems to be the default.
